Blob geometry generation

Geometry shader created in a custom framework (c++) using the DirectX api and HLSL. Mainly focussed on displaying blobs in a realtime environment using the marching tetrahedra algorithm in the geometry shader stage.

Small game, based on Electronic Super Joy created to learn the c++ programming language. Built upon the Hoefman engine provided by Howest. Adding small features in the process and developing and understanding of underlaying technologies. The graphics of the game leave a lot to be desired. I mainly focussed on the technical side of the game. I used a mixtured of my own programmer "art" and free assets from Kenny. Music by Popskyy

Gamejam submission for Brainseden 2016.

Just to Two of us is a game where to players have to work together by positioning. The goal is to finish each level as fast as possible.

I created the core shooting mechanic, stunning mechanics and destroyable targets. Also worked on implementing different UI elements into the game while fixing various bugs. A great experience overall.



Who am I?

I am Jonathan Steyfkens, a Belgian student currently studying Digital Arts and Entertainment. Programming and computers are my main hobbies. I am trying to turn my hobbies into my job and I'm determined to succeed. Other activities I participate in are gaming, playing musical instruments and sports (running, skiing).
